In preparation for the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027, Carlos P. Romulo Senior High School successfully conducted its five-day Brigada Eskwela 2026, bringing together teachers, learners, parents, stakeholders, and community partners in the spirit of bayanihan. Through collaborative efforts, the school strengthened its commitment to providing a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment for all students.
Day 1: Kick-Off Program (June 1, 2026)
Brigada Eskwela 2026 officially commenced with a Kick-Off Program that highlighted the importance of volunteerism, partnership, and shared responsibility in education. Participants enthusiastically joined the opening activities, demonstrating their commitment to preparing the school for a productive academic year.
Day 2: First Term Faculty Meeting and WINS Facilities Monitoring (June 2, 2026)
The second day focused on the school’s readiness for the upcoming school year through the conduct of the First Term Faculty Meeting and the monitoring of school facilities under the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Schools (WinS) Program. These activities ensured that policies, plans, and facilities were aligned to support a healthy and conducive learning environment.
Day 3: Collaboration with Counselors and Stakeholders (June 3, 2026)
The spirit of community partnership was evident as counselors, stakeholders, and volunteers joined hands in various school improvement activities. Carlos P. Romulo Senior High School extends its heartfelt gratitude to Word of Hope Christian Family Church and Dominion of Christ Ministry for generously volunteering their time, effort, and resources during the cleaning activities.
The school also warmly acknowledges the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Councilor TJ Calalay for their courtesy visit and continued support of educational initiatives during Brigada Eskwela 2026. Their presence reinforced the importance of collaboration in ensuring quality education for every learner.
Day 4: Classroom Orientation and Simulation (June 4, 2026)
To further strengthen school readiness, classroom orientation and simulation activities were conducted. These activities allowed teachers and personnel to review classroom procedures, safety measures, and operational protocols, ensuring a smooth and organized start to the school year.
Day 5: Closing Program (June 5, 2026)
Brigada Eskwela 2026 concluded with a Closing Program recognizing the collective efforts of all volunteers, partners, and stakeholders. The week-long activity showcased the power of unity, cooperation, and community engagement in creating a welcoming learning environment for students.
